Everything to watch in Ireland.
Irish sport runs on two tracks: the GAA calendar that peaks in summer, and the cross-channel football and rugby that fills the rest of the year. StreamFlex puts both, plus Irish and UK general channels, in one place.

Channel and content availability varies by package, region and authorized access. Network and competition names describe the type of content available and do not imply affiliation or a rights agreement. GAA and cross-channel football rights differ between the Republic and Northern Ireland — confirm with support before ordering. Customers are responsible for using only content permitted in their location.

Why Irish households look at IPTV
Ireland sits in an awkward broadcasting position: a domestic market too small to carry every sport on free-to-air, alongside a UK market whose channels are widely watched but whose rights do not always extend across the Irish Sea. The practical result is that following the GAA, the Premier League and Irish rugby properly has meant a domestic package, a UK sports subscription and a separate streaming service for championship matches.
StreamFlex consolidates that into one login — 50,000+ live channels, 250,000+ films and 50,000+ series over your existing broadband. Ireland's fibre rollout has been comparatively strong, which makes internet-delivered television a more realistic proposition here than in a lot of European markets.
The GAA calendar
The GAA is what makes Irish sport distinct, and it runs on its own rhythm. The hurling and Gaelic football championships build through the provincial rounds in early summer to the All-Ireland semi-finals and finals at Croke Park, then the club championships take over through the winter to the St Patrick's Day finals. StreamFlex carries the channels that broadcast them, in Full HD and 4K where available.
Championship weekends are worth planning for. A Sunday with a provincial final and a big hurling match on either side of it is exactly when a household discovers it needs two connections rather than one, so it is worth sorting before June rather than during it.
Cross-channel football
The Premier League has an enormous Irish following, and the fixtures land at convenient times — no time-zone gymnastics, just the same Saturday and Sunday slots as in Britain. The EFL and Championship, the FA Cup and the EFL Cup run through the same category, and midweek belongs to the Champions League from September through to the final in May. Our live football guide covers which competitions are included.
One honest note: broadcast rights for cross-channel football differ between the Republic and Northern Ireland, and between domestic and international feeds. Tell support which club you follow and where you are watching from before you order. The UK guide explains the British side of the same rights picture, including the Saturday 3pm blackout.
Rugby, from the Six Nations to the URC
February and March belong to the Six Nations, and Ireland internationals draw the biggest domestic audiences of the year. Around them, the United Rugby Championship carries the four provinces through the season, with Champions Cup weekends in December and April. Autumn internationals fill November.
Devices and Irish broadband
The Amazon Firestick is the most common starting point — see the Firestick guide. App-ready Smart TVs, Android TV boxes and Roku are all supported. Urban fibre in Dublin, Cork and Galway handles 4K without difficulty; rural connections vary more, so if you are on a slower line tell support before ordering so expectations are set properly.
A stable 15 Mbps handles Full HD comfortably; 4K feeds want 35 Mbps or better with low jitter. Run Ethernet to the TV where you can, use 5GHz Wi-Fi where you cannot, and open the channel a couple of minutes before throw-in or kickoff so the stream buffers first.
Films, box sets and the rest of the house
Alongside sport there are 250,000+ films and 50,000+ series, plus kids, documentary, news and lifestyle channels, Irish and UK general entertainment, and Irish-language programming. Premium and Ultra plans can add optional 18+ categories for verified adults on request; the Normal plan is family-only with no adult content.
